End of TeachUp! Training
Yesterday was the last day of training. The last two days of training was hecked. It seemed as if both days went by quickly because there were so many things we had to cram into those two days. During that time, we continued to learn more about technology. The things I learned made me more comfortable about having to go out into the schools. I am excited but nervous at the same time. I am praying everyday that things go great because I really want to do a good job.

How advance will technology be in 50 year?
Technology is the most popular thing trending these days. It is used in every aspect of life. There is not a single person, I would think, that does not use technology is some shape, form or fashion. With that being said, fifty years from now technology will probably run the world. The schools will have some type of portable device to do everything on. For classrooms, technology will replace boards, books and paper and pencils. I also believe technology will put alot of people out of work. For example, the grocery stores could run completely off u-scan: colleges could use more online classes and less classroom: airports upgrading to only self check-in: the internet replacing all the books in the library etc. When it comes to social life, everyone will be walking around with a miniature computer in their pockets. It'll soon be where a person can sit at home and visit there friend in another country and not have to leave their post. Therefore, it will be wise if everyone become familiar with technology.

TeachUp! Training Day 2
So, today was a long day. Moviemaker and power point were the new tasks! What a mess! It was mostly because of the internet connection. If the internet was not so busy, things would have gone smoother.   Power point was not so complicated because I had experience with it already. On the other hand, moviemaker was not such a success as my group had hope. It was although interesting to work with. I am extremely excited about learning new things. I am always up for learning new things and working with new people. I am overall glad to even have this opportunity.I have really been enjoying training thus far.

How exciting TeachUp! Training is! Day 1
Training today was really interesting and educational. I learned about so may new things I had no clue about. I had no idea that there was a site called Google Earth. Furthmore, I did not know it was as exciting as it was. Being able to tour the world without actually physically being there is awesome! Also, learning about podcast was pretty cool because now I will be able to take that into the classrooms and hopfully get the children as excited about it as I am. I was not familiar with blogs but being that it was introduced to me, I hope to grow as fund of it as others are. Overall, today was one big learning experience as I know the next few days will be. I am amped and ready to explore!
Goal As A TeachUp! Intern
Our goal as TeachUp! Interns are to show teacher how to enhance their classroom lessons by incorporating different computer programs. Also, we expect to introduce new technology into the community as well. We will help the teachers and community feel comfortable with using different technological resources. Being that we are interns, we will gain a greater knowledge of computers from the training that we received.
