TeachUp! Training Day 2
So, today was a long day. Moviemaker and power point were the new tasks! What a mess! It was mostly because of the internet connection. If the internet was not so busy, things would have gone smoother. Power point was not so complicated because I had experience with it already. On the other hand, moviemaker was not such a success as my group had hope. It was although interesting to work with. I am extremely excited about learning new things. I am always up for learning new things and working with new people. I am overall glad to even have this opportunity.I have really been enjoying training thus far.

It was definitely a LONG day, yet we got a lot of things accomplished and I personally had fun today. I have worked with powerpoint and movie maker before; however, i am a fan of powerpoints!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you about the frustrations of movie maker! The thing about it was the internet connection, I think that was a huge hinderance with my group. I too, enjoyed the functionalities of the program and how to incorporate the different components of making the movie! I feel if we were in a location where we had access to superb wireless, rather than whatever that was, some of the components we had trouble with would have gone smoother.

Although we had some challenges, we did overcome them. When you use movie maker in the schools, you probably won't be uploading it anywhere yet so you shouldn't have too many issues with the program.
ReplyDeleteI think a lot of people overlook the intricacies of PowerPoint and think it's just a slideshow presentation program. It can be a lot more than that!
I do agree that PowerPoint was easier because most of us had prior experience with the program. Despite the challenges of Movie Maker, overall I enjoyed working with it.
